DotMaze

The short version: DotMaze collects nothing.
There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no network connection of any kind. The app never sends anything anywhere, because it never connects to anything. It works entirely in aeroplane mode.
Who we are
DotMaze is published by inov.es ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@inov.es.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, receive, store or process any personal data about you. We do not know who you are, that you installed the app, or that you opened it.
Specifically, DotMaze contains:
- no analytics or crash-reporting service;
- no advertising or advertising identifiers;
- no tracking of any kind, across this app or any other;
- no account, sign-in, email capture or newsletter;
- no purchases or subscriptions;
- no social network integration;
- no network requests at all.
What the app stores on your device
To remember where you are in the game, DotMaze saves the following in its own private storage on your device:
- which levels you have solved, with your best time and star rating for each;
- your settings — dot size, pair numbering, sound, haptics and the outline preference.
This never leaves your device. It is not sent to us, it is not synced between your devices, and it is not readable by other apps. Deleting DotMaze deletes it.
Children
DotMaze is suitable for all ages and contains no advertising, no purchases, no chat and no links out to other services from within the game. Because we collect no data at all, we collect no data from children either.
Your rights
Data protection law — including the GDPR — gives you rights to access, correct, export and erase personal data held about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to hand over or delete. You remain in full control of the on-device data described above, which you can erase at any time by deleting the app.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of DotMaze ever changes what it collects, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change with it.

Using the app
By downloading or using DotMaze you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use DotMaze on devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. This licence is for use of the published app; it is not a transfer of ownership.
Price
DotMaze is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no advertising. We will not add any of those to a version you have already installed without saying so in the release notes.
What you may not do
You may not use the app for any unlawful purpose, or attempt to interfere with its operation on anyone else's device.
Source code
The source code for DotMaze is released into the public domain under the Unlicense, and you may copy, modify and reuse it freely. That dedication covers the code only — the DotMaze name and the app icon are not included, and remain ours.
Availability
DotMaze runs entirely on your device and needs no service from us to keep working. We may release updates, change how the game works, or stop publishing new versions at any time. A copy you have already installed will keep running for as long as your device supports it.
No warranty
DotMaze is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including loss of game progress. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app. Any claim relating to DotMaze should be directed to us, not to Apple.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the app changes. The current version always lives at this address, dated at the top.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
